FAQ's

Do you ship products outside the United States?

We can only accept or ship orders inside the 50 United States.

How will you ship my order?

Convenience Paks are usually shipped US Postal Service, Priority Mail. Bulk Paks are usually shipped UPS. You can choose which service (ground or air) when you order. If you prefer (and can accommodate) a trucking company, please submit your order with UPS shipping and contact us to adjust your shipping charges and set up trucking delivery.

How soon will you ship my order?

We will normally send your order in 3-5 business days.

Can I request samples?

Yes, we'll gladly send you samples of any of our magnets. Contact us and let us know what you'd like samples of.

What if you don't have the items I ordered in stock?

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Will magnets stick to stainless steel appliances?

Most common stainless steels are non-magnetic due to the addition of nickel. Because of this, magnets will not stick to stainless steel surfaces. Many appliances today are made to look like stainless steel but are actually a painted metal surface and magnets will stick. Also, common stainless steel appliances usually only have a steel door leaving the sides magnetic.

Can I keep these magnets near my computer? How about credit cards or computer disks?

We do not recommend using magnets near computers, computer disks, or other digitally-encoded information! As a general rule of thumb, it's not a good idea to keep magnets near any sort of digitally-encoded information.

What is the difference between 15 mil and 30 mil?

One mil is one-thousandth of an inch. So 15 mil is fifteen-thousandths of an inch. 30 mil is twice as thick as that, and is heavier. Please note: There is almost no difference between the magnetic strength of a 15 and 30 mil magnet. Some people prefer to have a thicker magnet, because it feels more substantial. MOST people prefer thinner magnets, because they can be mailed for less postage than thicker magnets (30 mil magnets weigh 2x as much as 15 mil magnets).

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax to any order within the state of California. If you are a reseller, please contact us.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your order with your credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) or checking account online or over the phone.

How secure is your ordering system?

All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. The information is then securely submitted to Authorize.net, the world's largest and most trusted online credit card processing companies. Your privacy is important to us and that is why we take pride in our secure order process.

What is your exchange/return policy?

We take great pride in our reputation for quality and value and unconditionally guarantee every item sold against any defect in manufacturing.

REFUNDS: Adhesive Magnets does not offer refunds. Please be sure the item you are ordering is the item you desire. Please contact an Adhesive Magnets representative (877-305-8326) and ask any questions pertaining to a particular product before ordering. We attempt to clearly display each item as best we can here and we will be happy to discuss the specifics of each product before you purchase.

EXCHANGES: Adhesive Magnets will gladly exchange any item that has been incorrectly sent to you or is defective in manufacturing. Please return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt and we will gladly assist you with a prompt exchange provided that the items are returned in their original packaging. In all cases, please contact your Adhesive Magnets representative (877-305-8326) before shipping your merchandise back to us, as we may decide to have you keep the damaged magnets rather than pay for return shipping.

  • Incorrect Product: You will not be charged for the shipping costs of replacement merchandise, and we will reimburse you for the cost of returning the item(s) to us.
  • Defective Product: If you have received defective merchandise, you may exchange the defective merchandise for a different item. Shipment of a replacement item of equal or lesser value is free of charge; however, if you would like to upgrade your shipping method or purchase additional items, you are responsible for the cost of the additional items and shipping charges.

CONCERNING CUSTOM-SIZED MAGNETS: For any defective material or items, we will promptly remanufacture any error on our part at no cost to you. Shipping of the replacement product is also no charge to you, after verification with your Adhesive Magnets representative (877-305-8326). NOTE: If you specified the wrong size, we are unable to take the magnets back.  

RETURN SHIPPING: If you are paying for the return shipping, please send all return packages via a prepaid, insured, traceable method to ensure a safe and documented delivery. If we are paying for return shipping, please ship the item UPS Ground and use our account number, which an Adhesive Magnets representative can provide you (877-305-8326).
